The Aerovolt team, (left to right) Guy Haydon, Alan KD and Phil KD, alongside Francois Randin and Laura Leoncini from EATON, met in Lausanne Switzerland last week to discuss and workshop the next steps for the smart charger rollout in the UK and beyond. Last week the Aerovolt team met legendary Swiss Explorer Raphael Domjan and his Solar Stratus project at Payerne Airport. An electric solar aircraft intent on flying to the edge of space. The Aerovolt name may have a place on the aircraft soon!

Aerovolt will be attending Aviation Live this year at the Coin Street Conference Centre on 30th November. The charging and management systems will be on display at the event.

We are appearing as the odd ones out at this years EV Summit 2023. Showcasing the smart aircraft charging system along side the Squadron management software at the annual event at Oxford University on 30th – 31st October.

We can confirm that Dunkeswell will join the AeroVolt network with an installed planned this November. The install will also see the first of a new type of battery storage system deployed on a UK airfield for electric aircraft charging.

Fareham Council have given go ahead for the installation at Lee-on-Solent airport. We are expecting the install to take place at the end of October. Further to that, Hentsridge will also be joining the network with an install expected in early to mid-November.

We can now announce that AEROVOLT has partnered with Octopus Energy and Octopus Electroverse.
