Brighton City Airport has become the first Aerovolt location to receive a CCS 40kW charger upgrade funded directly through sales of Electric Book & Claim (EBC). The upgrade will make the charger compatible with the next generation of electric aircraft, while also enabling use by suitable electric airside vehicles.

The project demonstrates EBCs purpose in action: turning aviation sustainability spending into permanent, operational infrastructure. Delivered without public grants or airport capital expenditure, the Brighton upgrade marks the first physical deployment funded by business aviation customers participating in the programme.
